Description: The two-day course introduces delegates to the essential role of all stakeholders (citizens, community organisations, businesses, statutory bodies and other key organisations) in the development of transport policies, strategies and schemes. In the context of the growing emphasis on participation, increasingly enshrined in law, this course sets out what responsible organisations must do. In addition, and possibly even more important, it show delegates the differences between running participation well and poorly.
