The 13th annual Transport Practitioners’ Meeting will take place in London for the second year running, in the first week in July 2015. This conference is the meeting place for all transport engineers, planners and urban transport designers and is a great opportunity to catch up on developments across the transport planning industry, as well as sharing your own knowledge with fellow professionals.
Submitting a paper to TPM offers an opportunity to demonstrate projects, acknowledge achievements, gain recognition, receive feedback, showcase your work, obtain valuable professional development and quality for CPD hours.
We’ll be emailing soon with more information on the Transport Practitioners Meeting and the call for papers, but this is an early alert to let you know that the deadline for submission of abstracts will be Monday 2nd February 2015

EVIDENCE project call for evidence
Do you ever find yourself frustrated by the lack of social, environmental, and economic benefit evidence available when it comes to bidding for funding for sustainable transport projects? Or do you have access to such info that could be spread to a wider audience?
The EVIDENCE project has been funded by the EC to provide evidence of the proven economic (and social and environmental) benefits of SUMPs and sustainable transport initiatives. The project team would like to distribute the results of their research to policy makers, consultants, practitioners and academics, as well as collecting any supporting data you already have.
The research team can accept data and evidence until March 2015 and they expect the findings to be ready by Sept 2015.
