BOOK NOW: Traffic Signing – from first principles to best practice

PTRC has developed this six week evening lecture course aimed at highway and traffic engineers and technicians to assist them in planning and designing signing schemes and also de-cluttering the signs.  The six week course begins with a basic introduction to the Traffic Signs, Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) and covers all the major categories of signs.  

• This course also includes a session on “sign surgery” during which you can discuss your work examples with course trainers.
• Delegates will understand planning and designing signing schemes which will be not only cost effective but sensitive to the local environment. 
• This course will provide advice on the source of relevant guidance, the application of that guidance to the implementation of signing schemes and how we can ‘declutter’ our streets within the legislation. 

Certificate of Attendance: 

Delegates achieving a minimum of 4/6 attendance of the lecture series will receive a certificate of attendance.  Each lecture counts as one hour CPD.
